Proud na napanood ni Michelle Dee ang Miss Universe Philippines journey ng pinsan niyang si Winwyn Marquez.
Proud ang former Miss Universe Philippines 2023 na si Michelle Dee sa kaniyang pinsang si Winwyn Marquez sa pagsabak nito sa 2025 sa parehong pageant.
Nitong Sabado May 3, kinoronahan ang pinakabagong Miss Universe Philippines na si Ma. Ahtisa Manalo sa naganap na Coronation Night sa SM MOA Arena. Tinanghal naman bilang first runner-up si Winwyn sa naturang beauy pageant.
Sa pagbisita ni Michelle sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Lunes, May 5, ipinahayag niya kung gaano siya ka-proud sa pinsan niyang si Winwyn.
“I'm so proud of her, and in the beginning pa lang, when she was considering joining, I really told her, 'Winwyn, you have to have the mindset, you really need to have the mental forte to it. You cannot celebrate until the fat lady sings,'” sabi ng Kapuso actress.
Alam din umano ng former beauty queen na nasa tamang lugar ang puso ng kaniyang pinsan, lalo na pagdating sa nirerepresenta nito.
“She was really trumpeting for the mothers, second chances, inclusivity, everything, the whole spectrum, and I knew at the end of that, that was what she was thinking about, she's so happy,” sabi ni Michelle.
Dagdag pa ng Kapuso actress, kahit hindi sila nagkasama ni Winwyn sa entablado ay masaya naman siyang mapanood ang performance nito.

Ngunit nang tanungin siya ni King of Talk Boy Abunda kung sino sa tingin niya ang mananalo kung hindi si Ahtisa, inamin ni Michelle mahihirapan siyang sagutin ito.
“I mean, number one, I'm glad I wasn't a judge, number two, it's so hard to determine who would've been the winner if not Ahtisa because that's her destiny e,” sabi ni Michelle
Sa ngayon ay masaya lang siyang makita na makoronahan ang pinakabagong reyna na magre-represent sa Pilipinas sa Miss Universe 2025. Aniya, excited siya dahil magbabalik Asya ang naturang pageant, na gaganapin sa Thailand ngayong taon.
“I know a lot of Filipinos are gonna fly to support, and it's about time that it's back in Asia, so I'm just really excited for that full journey that Ahtisa is going to have,” sabi ni Michelle.
