After months in quarantine, friends and fellow Kapuso stars Mikee Quintos and Kylie Padilla have finally reunited.

The two enjoyed a pamper day organized by Kylie's husband Aljur Abrenica.

Aljur organized the surprise to show his gratitude to his wife and enlisted Mikee's help to pull it off.

"Magpa-pamper day kami ni Kylie today! Siyempre, care of Mr. Aljur Abrenica, thank you very much. Sobrang sweet niyang asawa," Mikee shares.

"Hindi alam ni Kylie na nagpa-plano siya. Kahapon sinabi niya sa'kin on the phone na kasi daw inaalagaan ni Kylie 'yung tatlong babies niya, kasama siya doon, kaya gusto niyang bigyan ng pamper day today si Kylie. Pambawi at pang thank you sa pag-aalaga ng kanilang super mom sa buong family," she adds.

The salon they visited has various safety protocols to adapt to the "new normal."

Mikee was asked to answer a form to declare her travel history and state of health. She was also given shoe covers and a face shield upon entering the establishment.

Kylie expressed her surprise upon seeing Mikee enter the salon.

"Ang laki na ng panganay ko. Tingnan mo naman ang panganay ko," Kylie joked.

Kylie and Mikee played mother-daughter in the 2016 requel of iconic telefantasya Encantadia. Kylie played Amihan while Mikee played her long-lost daughter Lira.

Mikee also gifted Kylie with some washable face masks designed by her older sister Denise.

A few days ago, Kylie got a surprise date at home from her husband Aljur.

He decorated their home with candles and flowers and had a picnic-style dinner spread indoors.

Meanwhile, Mikee has kept herself busy by making various videos for her relaunched vlog.
