Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol is truly living the spirit of Christmas as she spent Christmas day with the beneficiaries of the NGO that she supports.
In her most recent post on Instagram, Gwendolyne shared photos and clips of her distributing gifts at the ERDA Foundation, an organization that she supports and one that “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.” In the caption to the post, she shared that there was no better way to spend Christmas than with the ERDA beneficiaries.
Gwendolyne's Christmas spent with the children of the ERDA Foundation is far from being the first time she's done a good deed for the foundation. Earlier this month, she taught French to the beneficiaries with the foundation and even ended up an appreciation for teaching, calling it a “vocation” where she can “help individuals grow in their skills and knowledge.”
In September, Gwendolyne helped wrap up school supplies for the foundation, describing the project as an enlightening experience.
The supplies she wrapped were collected from a months-long activity that stared in July when she first began her call for donations of school supplies, books, educational resources or clothes.
Gwendolyne isn't the only Miss World Philippines queen involved in causes. Miss World Philippines Tourism Justine Felizarta and Miss Eco Philippines Ashley Subijano Montenegro visited the Benigno Aquino High School in Makati to educate young people about smoking and its adverse effects on the body back in July.
It was also in July, that Miss World Philippines 2022 Charity Cassandra Chan, along with Miss Eco Philippines 2022 Ashley Subijano Montenegro, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Ingrid Santamaria, Miss World Philippines 2022 Top 10 Finalist Kayla Tiongson, and Miss World Philippines Batangas Province 2022 Shaina Rose Ico, visited the Mataas na Kahoy Evacuation Center in Batangas to visit children with cerebral palsy.
The start of the 2023 school year also saw Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Ingrid Santamaria and Miss Eco Teen Philippines Beatriz Mclelland take part in the Brigada Eskwela kickoff at the Pres. Corazon C. Aquino High School in Baseco, Port Area, Manila, alongside faculty members, local government officials, parents, and volunteers.
