Gwendolyne Fourniol

This activity is just the latest advocacy work that Gwendolyne Fourniol has done for the NGO.

The advocacy work doesn't stop for Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol as she has recently shared that she has just spent time teaching French at an NGO that she supports.

In her most recent post on Instagram, Gwendolyne posted several photos and a few clips of her at the ERDA Foundation, an organization that she supports and one that “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.” In the caption to the post, she shared that she spent the first day of the month teaching French to the ERDA beneficiaries. She also added her appreciation for teaching, calling it a “vocation” where she can “help individuals grow in their skills and knowledge.”

Gwendolyne's advocacy work with the ERDA Foundation has been a longstanding commitment for her, as she has visited the organization multiple times over the past year to provide support. Back in September, she wrapped up her distribution of school supplies and described the project as an enlightening experience.

The event itself was the culmination of a months-long activity that started in July when she first began her call for donations of school supplies, books, educational resources, or clothes.

Gwendolyne has also been involved with other causes along with other Miss World Philippines queens. In August, she and Miss World Philippines Tourism Justine Felizarta and Miss Eco Philippines Ashley Subijano Montenegro visited the Benigno Aquino High School in Makati to educate young people about smoking and its adverse effects on the body. The queens also pushed for healthier habits like adequate sleep and daily exercise.

Gwendolyne is just one of the Miss World Philippines winners that have also been advocating for causes close to their heart. Back in July, Miss World Philippines 2022 Charity Cassandra Chan, along with Miss Eco Philippines 2022 Ashley Subijano Montenegro, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Ingrid Santamaria, Miss World Philippines 2022 Top 10 Finalist Kayla Tiongson, and Miss World Philippines Batangas Province 2022 Shaina Rose Ico, visited the Mataas na Kahoy Evacuation Center in Batangas to visit children with cerebral palsy.

Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Ingrid Santamaria and Miss Eco Teen Philippines Beatriz Mclelland also took part in the Brigada Eskwela kickoff at the Pres. Corazon C. Aquino High School in Baseco, Port Area, Manila, alongside faculty members, local government officials, parents, and volunteers.
