Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol continues to prove that she is indeed a beauty with a purpose!
Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol is truly living her life as a beauty with a purpose as she recently joined the ERDA Foundation in visiting the site of its future Learning Hub.
In a post on her Instagram account, the beauty queen shared several photos of her in Baseco, Tondo along with several members of the ERDA Foundation. They were there to conduct an ocular inspection of the 25 square meter lot that will be the location of the two-story building that will be the venue for ERDA Foundation beneficiaries who want to learn. The ERDA Foundation is an organization that “envisions a nation where all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development in a supportive environment for them to have a better life.”
In the caption to the post, Gwendolyne also expressed her dedication to help out the organization by helping raise funds and gather resources from different stakeholders for the Learning Hub's construction.
The Learning Hub is just the latest ERDA Foundation project that Gwendolyne is involved in. Last year, she spent Christmas day with beneficiaries of the foundation, even distributing distributing gifts to them.
It was also in December that she taught French to the beneficiaries with the foundation and even ended up an appreciation for teaching, calling it a “vocation” where she can “help individuals grow in their skills and knowledge.”
Gwendolyne also helped wrap up school supplies for the foundation back in September, describing the project as an enlightening experience.
Even the supplies she was wrapping came from her own efforts, as they came from a months-long activity that stared in July when she first began her call for donations of school supplies, books, educational resources or clothes.
