Moira Dela Torre is not closing the door on the possibility of reconciling with people she became estranged from amid a showbiz fallout that sparked speculation for more than a year.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the singer-songwriter opened up about the misunderstandings surrounding the issue and expressed hope that some of her relationships can still be repaired.
“I'm so hopeful for reconciliation someday.”
Moira's statement comes after months of speculation surrounding her relationships with several celebrities and her former management, Cornerstone Entertainment.
The issue drew public attention in early 2025 when netizens noticed that Moira had unfollowed several familiar names on Instagram, including Sam Milby, Yeng Constantino, and TJ Monterde.
The social media changes came amid reports that Moira had parted ways with Cornerstone.
As the issue unfolded, different accounts of the supposed fallout began circulating, including allegations of an “attitude problem” and claims that Moira had supposedly said things about other celebrities.
At the time, neither Moira nor Cornerstone publicly confirmed the allegations.
Looking back, Moira described what happened as the result of misunderstandings that were never properly addressed.
“I know that a lot of the things that happened had something to do with a lot of misunderstandings. And we never got to talk about it.”
She also addressed the accusation that she had backstabbed people within her circle, firmly denying the claim.
“I didn't backstab anyone. Not in that way. I wouldn't do that,” she said, according to ABS-CBN News.
Moira also acknowledged that some of her actions while she was hurting may have affected the people involved.
“Ako po, I acknowledge that there were things na nagawa ko po when I was hurting na hindi ko po sinasadya,” she said.
She also took responsibility for the possibility that her actions had caused them pain.
“Huwag din po natin ialis sa kanila na nasaktan ko sila. Kasalanan ko po. Kunin na natin 'yan.”
Despite the fallout, Moira continues to appreciate the relationships and memories she shared with the people involved.
“They're all good people, and I'm really, really grateful for the memories that we all had and shared.”
For now, Moira remains hopeful that reconciliation may still be possible someday.
