SUGA of the global group BTS and Korean superstar IU have teamed up once again, this time for the rapper-producer's pre-release track, “People Pt. 2.”

BTS's music label, BigHit Music, teased the collaboration with a poster of a standing SUGA surrounded by various musical equipment.

The song is set to be released on April 7, Friday, at 1 p.m. KST (12 p.m. in Manila).

The two multi-faceted artists previously joined forces in 2020 for the chart-topping track, “eight,” which was produced and featured SUGA.

“People Pt. 2” will be part of SUGA's upcoming solo album, D-Day, scheduled to be released on April 21.

The album will mark the “concluding chapter of a trilogy by SUGA's another moniker, Agust D.”

As Agust D, SUGA has released two mixtapes, Agust D in 2016 and D-2 in 2020. SUGA also has a song titled “People” in his D-2 mixtape.

SUGA is set to begin his first solo tour under Agust D this month, with his first shows scheduled in the United States.

He also previously teased his solo documentary, SUGA: Road to D-Day.

In July last year, IU guested J-hope in her web talk show, IU's Palette, for the rapper-dancer's solo album, Jack in the Box.
