Carats couldn't have been more proud of their favorite K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN as they continuously break records with their self-produced music.
This time around, the global sensations released their 10th mini-album FML which went on to sell for a total of 4,550,214 copies. The numbers earned them the title of the best-selling album in K-pop history, having been the only artists to surpass four million sales in a week.
SEVENTEEN's FML as well as the music video of their title track “Super” has been well received by fans ever since it was released last April 24. Within 24 hours of its release, the 13-member boy band broke the record for the highest first-week sales in Hanteo history.
According to Hanteo Chart (a chart that records physical album sales in South Korea), SEVENTEEN's FML became the fastest-selling album not just in Korea but worldwide.
SEVENTEEN's latest comeback cemented their stance as versatile K-pop artists who aren't afraid to break out of their shells and try out something new. Their passion for the craft has been evident since day one and is further solidified up to this day.
What's truly best about SEVENTEEN though is despite being eager to try out new things, they never forget their roots as well as all the Carats who have been showing them support throughout the years.
Congratulations, SEVENTEEN! Truly, a well-deserved recognition.
