Broadway actress Lea Salonga found herself the subject of a viral video where she asked fans to leave her dressing room.

Lea Salonga was the subject of a viral video recently were her fans approached her and asked for a photo inside of her dressing room in Here Lies Love.

In the two-minute video, which was uploaded by Cristopher Retokelly Carpila, the Broadway actress was visibly shocked when she saw a couple of fans gathered by the door of her dressing room in . In the video, Lea can be seen talking to a couple when a fan asked for a photo.

"Hi, Ms. Lea! Can we take pictures with you?" the fan asked.

Lea replied, "Who are you? Sorry, I don't know who you are."

The fan explained, "We're just a fan. Please."

Lea then politely asked them to leave. "Unless you are on the guest list, we cannot have you back here. So, you have to go to the door. I'm sorry because if I allow this now, then other people are gonna take advantage of this."

One of the fans explained that her friend named G. Toengi, who was one of the producers of Here Lies Love. Despite this, the award-winning actress stood her ground and asked if they could wait for her in the door near the exit.

Lea told them, " Oh, okay. But still, you are not on the guest list. Can you wait for me at the door? I'm really sorry because our... No, sa pinto, I'll see you at the door, but don't go outside. Stay inside."

The fans then apologized then proceeded to go the exit where they had a chance to take a photo with Lea.

On Twitter, Lea revealed that she checked with fellow Filipina actress, G. Toengi if she had any idea of what happened.

She tweeted, "I checked in with G after this happened... she had no idea who they were."

In a separate tweet, Lea said that the fans "could folded right into" her guests that floor.

"Actually, we have multiple levels of security at the theater. But I had a ton of guests that night and perhaps they folded right into them. Security policies have been even more tightened."

Lea also posted a reminder to her fans that she still has her boundaries and asked them to not cross them.

On Twitter, netizens sided with Lea's decision to not allow the fans to have a picture with her inside her dressing room.

One user wrote, "I feel like Filipino fans are some of the most entitled fans there are. Something about our culture makes fans believe that artists owe them and that they are beholden to them somehow."

Another user wrote, "Some people are really ignorant about etiquette and privacy. Grabe, the audacity to say things + entitlement :// I wonder what their producer friend has to say about it? It's embarrassing to be honest, they couldnt comprehend a simple rule applied in everyday life."

Lea is currently in the Broadway show Here Lies Love, portraying the role of Aurora Aquino in limited shows. Here Lies Love is also Lea's first musical Broadway show as a producer.
