It's confirmed! the 2016 Sang'gres will be back in the upcoming 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre' series.
Fans of the upcoming fantasy series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre are in for a treat as Direk Mark Reyes confirmed that the OG 2016 Sang'gres will be back in the new series.
In an Instagram post, Direk Mark posted a picture of himself with the 2016 Sang'gres Kylie Padilla, Gabbie Garcia, Glaiza de Castro, and Sanya Lopez.
“I can finally post this. Yes, the OG 2016 Sanggres are back for Sang'gre! @glaizaredux @kylienicolepadilla @gabbi @sanyalopez,” he captioned his post.
He added, “It was like no time passed when we got together earlier this December to shoot the teaser.”
Kylie, who played the role of Amihan, first teased that she would return to the series in November when she posted one of her action scenes. In the caption, she wrote, “See you again I guess?”
In the comments, Direk Mark confirmed her involvement in the new project by saying, “Yes see you very soon Hara Amihan!”
Also in November, Direk Mark announced that Sanya and Rocco Nacino would be reprising their roles as Danaya and Aquil, respectively.
“Estasectu! @nacinorocco and @sanyalopez report for duty for #encantadiachroniclessanggre. They once again take on their roles as Mashna Aquil and Sanggre Danaya, respectively,” he posted.
Meanwhile, during the Kapuso Countdown to 2024 yesterday, December 31, a short teaser video was played showing the 2016 Sang'gres meeting the new generation of guardians.
In the video, the 2016 Sang'gres were shown in modern attire and holding drinks. They then introduced the new generation of Sang'gres Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian).
The video ends with the eight Sang'gres posing fiercely and the new generation showing the brilyantes with the support from the 2016 Sang'gres.
