Singer-songwriter and GMA Music artist Vilmark just released a soul-stirring track titled "INOWY" (I'm Not Okay Without You), which quickly climbed up the iTunes Philippines chart.
The powerful ballad has reached the eighth spot on the music chart. The newly released song is his third self-composed and first all-English single under GMA Music.
"INOWY" is a sequel to Vilmark's sophomore single "Lisan," which he dedicated to his late father, who passed away in December 2022.
Vilmark explained, "Kung 'yung 'Lisan' is about grief and sadness, this time naman it's about acceptance and being true to yourself that you're not okay. This is allowing yourself to be vulnerable and accepting na hindi ka okay.
"I feel like it is a pace for you na daanan in order for you to move forward and maka-start ulit ng panibago. Kasi hangga't hindi mo ina-accept 'yung reality na hindi ka okay, palagi kang magma-mask na 'okay lang ako,' pero deep inside sobrang basag na basag ka na. This song is about sharing with people na okay lang na hindi maging okay kasi its valid."
"INOWY" is now available for streaming on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital music platforms worldwide. The performance video for "INOWY" will be released on January 31.
