Fans were thrilled at yesterday's fan meeting and press conference as they met the actors of "Aang" and "Prince Zuko" in the most anticipated live-action series, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Representing Pinoy pride, Fil-Canadian star Gordon Cormier, who acted as Aang, expressed his excitement to be back in the Philippines.

"It has been amazing [to be] back in my homeland, Filipino right here! It's nice to be back home,[I] haven't been here a while because of Covid so it's really nice. Got to see my family," said Cormier.

Along with him was Dallas James Liu (actor of Prince Zuko) who was also delighted to meet his fans for the first time in the country.

"It's been really exciting, this is my first time in Manila, and everyone [has] been very welcoming," he said.

Both stars bonded with the fans as they excitedly shared some details about the upcoming show, including their personal experiences during the filming of the series.

Dallas made everyone in the audience laugh as he recalled a funny incident while they were filming. "My wig fell off like a ton. [and] I was like do[ing] a flip and I'll be just like bald with like 3 inches of hair."

Gordon also shared his memorable and scariest moment during an action scene in the series. "Wiring [is] attached to my back and they have to pull me up like 50 feet, like super fast, like 60 km in an hour and that was really scary. It was memorable but it was terrifying and the look on my face was pretty accurate. I wasn't even acting. I was just screaming and yelling."

Besides talking to everyone at the event, both actors also left inspiring messages to their fans in an interview with Cata Tibayan for Chika Minute.

The Fil-Canadian star said "Message to the Filipinos out there, We love you, Go for it." and "Just don't give up, keep trying like dreaming big. There's nothing that can really go wrong."

Dallas also cheered "You keep on fighting. Everyone who has dreams that they wanna pursue at least give it a shot because you'll never know what will happen if you don't."
