Actress Liza Soberano continues to make strides in the international scene as she snaps a photo with an internationally acclaimed director at an award show held in Japan.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Liza Soberano posted multiple pictures from her time as a presenter at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards held in Japan. In one of the photos, Liza can be seen with Parasite director Bong Joon-Ho, who Liza described as a legend in the caption to the post.
Liza's photo with Bong Joon-Ho comes after her successful role as Taffy in the movie Lisa Frankenstein, where she starred alongside Hollywood stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Jenna Davis, Carla Gugino, and Henry Eikenberry.
This also isn't Liza's first brush with a Korean celebrity, as she teased a YouTube series on her Korean travels late last year. On her Instagram account, she posted photos with several South Korean celebrities like TikTok influencer Won Jeong, comedian Jung Hyung-don, actress Han Da-gam, and idol group Billlie. The series eventually debuted on the YouTube channel phh - TV with 15 episodes.
It was also last year when Liza landed the cover of a Singaporean fashion magazine, with Grazia Singapore Instagram account posting the cover image that featured Liza in a Giorgio Armani.
BJ Pascual was the cover's photographer with Perry Tabora as the stylist.
A month before that, Liza attended the Gold Gala clad in a Mark Bumgarner gown. She also shared photos with Filipino and Asian personalities like Lea Salonga, Michelle Phan, Patrick Starr, and Bella Poarch.
