Versatile TV-movie actor Sid Lucero joined the thousands in Philippine show business who have paid tribute to internationally acclaimed actress Jaclyn Jose.

Jaclyn or Mary Jane Guck in real life, passed away at the age of 60 on March 2. Her daughter Andi Eigenmann confirmed that the legendary actress died due to a heart attack.

Sid, the half-brother of Andi, posted a simple tribute on his Instagram page showing off his 69th Cannes Film Festival shirt, the year when Miss Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for her role in 'Ma Rosa.'

He captioned his post saying, “I love you!! Hanggang sa susunod.. big hug!!”

Back in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sid worked with Jaclyn in the primetime series The World Between Us starring Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Tom Rodriguez.

Another co-star of Jaclyn in the primetime soap, Yana Asistio recalled her experience working with the late actress and how she helped them adjust in their lock-in taping set up.

According to Yana, Jaclyn was a mother figure to all of them and even comforted them with their personal struggles.

“During this lock in, you made it all so easy even though we were all struggling. There were first-timers, but because of you, we all ended up strong and happy! We spent 3-4 months together, and even outside of work, God made us family. I can't remember a day during our lock in when you didn't comfort all of us, from scenes to personal struggles.” Yana stated.

“I was just telling these guys that you were the only one who made us complete during those days when we weren't even allowed to be together. You were our Tita Jane, but we saw and felt the motherly care you shared with us..

“Thank you very much for everything you taught us, both personally and professionally. You were never afraid to share how you made it this far. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, and you will always be our YACHIE.”
