Former inductees Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards, and Billy Crawford congratulate the newest celebrities and personalities recognized at the prestigious Eastwood City Walk of Fame.

The Eastwood City Walk of Fame was started in 2005 by the late Master Showman German "Kuya Germs" Moreno to give recognition to individuals who made notable contributions to the Philippine entertainment industry.

A total of 20 stars were inducted into the Walk of Fame on March 6, at Eastwood in Quezon City. During the event, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes gave the newest inductees his congratulations and noted how happy he was to have attended the event.

“Napakasaya na pagkakataon kapag may mga ganitong pagkilala kasi it really gives honor and at the same time, it imparts a timeless contributions of the members of the industry and napakasaya lang na mawiwitness ko ito,” he said.

He also noted how people were out and celebrating with the artists in honoring the newest celebrities who got their own stars on the Walk of Fame.

“Mabuti may mga ganitong event kasi hindi naman puwedeng isnag event lang, hindi naman puwedeng isang season lang, it has to be year long,” he added.

Pulang Araw star Alden Richards also gave his congratulations to his fellow Kapuso stars and new inductees and remembered how he was not present during his induction.

“Nakakatuwa kasi the first time na nabigyan ako ng Walk of Fame star, I wasn't able to attend, so I really wanted to be here para kahit papaano mapuntahan ko naman 'yung hindi ko napuntahan wayback 2016 pa,” he said.

Meanwhile, actor and host Billy Crawford noted that the reason people were present in the event was to honor the legacy of Kuya Germs.

“I think the reason why we're all here is just to live the legacy of Kuya Germs, the Walk of Fame, and just to give, parang bouquet sa industriya natin and just congratulations to all the awardees,” he said.
