KathDen fans won once again when a netizen shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Alden Richards skipped the PH Esports Awards because of Kathryn Bernardo's housewarming party last April 11.

An X thread about Alden's schedule started when one user quoted a post that showed his extreme gentlemanliness. It said: “[F]rom pag-alalay kay [K]athryn while she is partying and taking a shot to holding her mini fan pero kay [K]ath pa rin nakatapat to offering her family and friends some drinks-- ito ba 'yung tinatawag na acts of service, [A]lden[?]”

This prompted another netizen to quote the post and addressed fans of Alden, “To [Alden's] fans [diyan], pakisagot nga kung ganito ba siya sa lahat.”

One user replied: “Hindi… [A]lam niyo bang may awarding dapat siyang pupuntahan kagabi kaya 'di kami umasa na nandoon siya sa house blessing? He was expected to grace the PH Esports Award kasi nominated siya for [three] categories pero he's not there [kasi] nandoon siya sa bahay nina Kath.”

Indeed, Alden Richards was nominated for the Esports and Gaming Positive Influencer of the Year while Myriad Esports, a multimedia company founded by the Kapuso star, was nominated for the Esports Event of the Year because of the Myriad Esports Cup and Myriad MLBB Masters S1.

They even added that Alden went on a run on the morning of April 11 and may have attended a taping.

“Gentleman [si Alden], oo, pero oras lagi ang problema niya. Kay Kath lang siya naging ganyan ka-libre,” the fan added.

Another fan replied, “[Super] true; now ko lang nakita si [Alden] ng ganyan… [samantalang] dati [ay] lagi work [ang] priority niya, now, ibang-iba na…”

Just recently, Alden released a statement about his growing relationship with Kathryn and said that “what you see is what you get.” Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo has not spoken up about the speculations surrounding KathDen.
