Rosmar Tan finally had a chance to meet former child actor Jiro Manio.
The social media influencer Rosmar recently made headlines after encountering someone who posed as Jiro Manio to ask for assistance in finding a job.
Being a fan of Jiro, Rosmar agreed to help and suggested meeting up first. However, the individual backed out upon hearing this request, citing various reasons.
Rosmar was then warned by entertainment content creator and talent manager Ogie Diaz about the poser.
On his Facebook account, he told her, "Rosmar, fake account po yung kausap nyong Jiro Manio.
The incident was further explained by Jiro in an interview with Julius Babao for his YouTube channel. During their conversation, the former star revealed that his Facebook account was hacked in April. He realized this when he saw notifications indicating unauthorized access.
Jiro also mentioned that he had already created a new account since he couldn't recover his old one and has been deleted since. He clarified that he wasn't actively seeking a job because he was busy managing his household and their mini-store.
Upon learning about Jiro's small business, Rosmar saw an opportunity to assist him. She offered him a partnership deal with her skincare business, providing him with products worth PhP50,000 to start selling and PhP10,000 pesos cash.
Sobrang lakas naman kaya easy to benta talaga.
Rosmar also encouraged Jiro to consider returning to showbiz, expressing her admiration for his talents from when she watched him on television. However, Jiro replied, "it depends," and mentioned his current medications and doctor's advice to avoid stress.
Rosmar then suggested to consider becoming an influencer, as it could also help promote his business effectively.
