Child star Cassy Lavarias is one of the young talents who has proven that dreams do come true. She aspired to become an actress and meet other famous stars in the showbiz industry.

With hard work, passion, and dedication, the 11-year-old has already reached these goals. Recently, she captivated the hearts of many with her outstanding performance as the young version of Adelina in the GMA Prime series Pulang Araw.

Cassy also drew attention for her resemblance to her Kapuso role model, Barbie Forteza. She even earned the nickname "young Barbie Forteza" for effectively portraying the young version of Barbie in both Maging Sino Ka Man and Pulang Araw,

Despite the growing attention, Cassy remains focused on her bigger dreams and is excited to explore new opportunities.

In a recent episode Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel podcast, Cassy talked about her desire to be an actress. She began her showbiz career at the age of six through GMA's defunct drama series Magkaagaw. In this project, she discovered her love for memorizing scripts and performing alongside talented actors.

Cassy also enjoyed being on set, showcasing her talents, and bonding with her co-stars. Her passion for growth and creativity as an artist was evident, as demonstrated by her ability to shed tears easily in her performances.

"[Iniisip ko po 'yung] malulungkot po. Parang mawawala po sina mommy at si daddy. Parang ganu'n po ang mga hugot ko po," she explained.

As a young artist, Cassy dreams of working with other Kapuso stars. While she has met her Pulang Araw co-stars Alden Richards and Barbie Forteza, she hopes to work with them in the future. She also expressed a desire to work with Encantadia actress Sunshine Dizon.

"Si Ms Sunshine Dizon po kasi maganda po siya and napakabait niya rin po sa akin and lagi ko po kasi siya pinapanood sa Ika-6 Na Utos po dati," she happily shared.

In addition to her ambitions, Cassy is passionate about encouraging other young talents. When asked what advice she would give to aspiring child stars, she emphasized the importance of perseverance and following their dreams.

"Do not give up your dream and just follow your dreams. If you want to be an actress, just go for it. You can do anything!" she said.
