Naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag ang grupong BINI tungkol sa deep fake. Basahin dito:
Nagbigay ng babala ang management ng sikat na Pinoy Pop girl group na BINI sa kanilang fans tungkol sa deepfake photos o videos na lumalabas sa social media platforms tampok ang mga miyembro ng grupo.
Nakasaad sa statement na inilabas ng management ng BINI na pinost nila sa kanilang social media pages, “It has come to our attention that there are malicious, edited deep fake photos and videos of BINI members circulating on social media.”
“We strongly condemn these harmful acts. Our team has already taken action to remove some of these accounts. We are working with the proper government agencies and authorities to identify the individuals behind these acts and pursue legal actions.”
“The safety and well-being of BINI remain our top priority. We will continue to monitor and take necessary measures against any form of exploitation or harassment,” pagtatapos ng kanilang statement.
