Ahtisa Manalo

Miss Cosmo Philippines Ahtisa Manalo once again needs the help of Filipino pageant fans to advance in the competition.

The Miss Cosmo International pageant continues to heat up, with the country's representative Ahtisa Manalo once again needing help from Filipino pageant fans here and abroad.

In one of the more recent posts on The Miss Philippines official Instagram account, the organization called on pageant fans to help Ahtisa pass the next stage of the Cosmo People's Choice Award, the National Pride.

In the caption to the post, The Miss Philippines included instructions on how to vote for Ahtisa and how winning this station would result in a media promotion package, including media, OOH, and TV coverage to promote themselves and their country. Ahtisa also stands to win a “Hope Star,” which will double her points during the final voting stage.

Ahtisa has already won the “first station” of the Miss Cosmo International's People's Choice Awards after The Miss Philippines organization campaigned hard for Ahtisa, sending out a call for votes.

The Miss Philippines organization's campaigning has also resulted in Ahtisa achieving the 1 million voting mark for the Miss Cosmo Social Ambassador challenge.

Aside from dominating in the online voting, Ahtisa also charmed pageant fans with her national costume made by Filipino designer Ehrran Montoya. In one of the posts, The Miss Philippines explained that the costume was inspired by Mars Ravelo's superheroine, Dyesebel.

According to the caption, the costume is meant to be a celebration of “iconic Filipino artistry while giving a nod to our nation's rich mythology.”

Ahtisa has also debuted her Miss Cosmo International introduction video () on the Miss Cosmo International Instagram account.

In the video, Ahtisa revealed that despite having the opportunity to represent the Philippines in another pageant, she chose to compete in the Miss Cosmo International pageant. She also shared how growing up, she had very little access to “good schools” and “opportunities,” but she turned to pageantry to lift herself up.
