Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino is living the dream of every K-drama fan after meeting several South Korean stars at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

Walking the red carpet, Rocco had the opportunity to connect with famous actors such as Ji Chang-wook, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Jung Jin-young. He shared highlights from his unforgettable experience on Instagram, posting photos with the stars.

In his captions, he wrote excitedly, "Met some new friends. Naks close kami? Hope I get their names right, met Ji Chang-wook, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Jung Jin-young before the red carpet walk."

Rocco expressed pride in representing Philippine culture by wearing a charming Barong Tagalog designed by Francis Libiran. Many Korean stars complimented his outfit and inquired about its design.

"They were all very kind and all started our conversation with a compliment for my Francis Libiran Barong. Ano daw tawag sa suot ko at paano daw ginawa. Hehe Siyempre binida ko ang paggawa ng barong ng pinas," he shared.

In a stroke of luck, Rocco also ran into South Korean actress Park Bo-young in an elevator. He recounted their interaction, "Met Park Bo Young in the elevator on the way up to the event, 'di lang nagi-english pero palabati din."

Followers and friends of Rocco took to the comment section to express their excitement and delight at the actor's memorable experience. Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also showed support to his friend as he commented, "Go go go bro! [Philippines] represent!!" Rocco happily replied, " Sana magkasama tayo sa mga susunod na festivals! Kakaiba bro!"

Other celebrities, including Shaira Diaz and Winwyn Marquez, also expressed their excitement for Rocco in the post.

In addition to the stars he already met, Rocco also had the opportunity to meet Korean actor Song Joong-ki at the festival. He shared their interaction in another Instagram post, mentioning that they discussed the action-romance drama series Descendants of the Sun. Song Joong-ki starred as the main lead in the original Korean version, while Rocco portrayed TSg Diego Ramos in the Philippine adaptation of the show.

Rocco attended the international film festival as a representative for the nominated film Motherland in the Jiseok category.
