LANY in PH

LANY stayed true to their promise at the start of the show that it would be the best night of everyone's lives.

After months of waiting, American rock band LANY finally landed in the Philippines and kicked off their four-day concert last Saturday, October 12, at the Philippine Arena.

As expected, “a beautiful blur” turned out to be a blast as Filipino fans danced and sang along to the hits of the world-famous band.

“Thank you so much for the best night of my entire life,” LANY's singer Paul Klein said before bidding goodbye to the fans.

He also left a message that strengthened the hope of Filipino fans to see the band in the future.

“For as long as LANY exists, we will always be here in the Philippines,” Paul said, “Until we see you again, we'll be thinking about you.”

These statements proved LANY's undying connection with the Philippines, who the band said “understood them” before anybody else did.

“I feel like Manila understood LANY before anyone else understood LANY,” Paul said in the opening of the show.

He also expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported them from the start of their career.

Paul said, “We owe so much of everything that we have to you. Thank you for the love, your support, [and] thank you for choosing to be here tonight.”

“You could be anywhere in the entire world, [...] but you decided to take time out of your busy lives and busy schedules to be here with us, and that means everything to me,” Paul said.

Bringing with them the love of the Filipino fans throughout the show, LANY showed everything they got and stayed true to Paul's promise at the beginning of the show.

“We are going to have the best night ever tonight,” Paul said, “We will all remember tonight when LANY played in the largest indoor stadium on the planet, and it is all because of you.”

After their spectacular show at the Philippine Arena, LANY is set to play another three-night concert at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino from October 13 to 15, 2024.
