'Green Bones' captured the hearts of its star-studded audience during the premiere night.

Green Bones, the official entry of GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs to the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), has touched on the emotions of the stars and personalities present at its premiere night on Friday, December 20.

A report by Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras Weekend showed nearly everyone who attended the special screening was emotional, including its lead stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid.

"First time ko ata naiyak sa sarili ko habang pinapanood ko siya," Dennis said in the interview.

Kapuso star and Dennis' wife, Jennylyn Mercado, was also in attendance during the premiere and was in tears after watching the movie.

Meanwhile, Ruru couldn't help but express his gratitude for being part of Green Bones.

"After I watched this film, sabi ko, it's gonna be a timeless film. It's gonna be a classic. I'm just very thankful to be part of this project," Ruru said.

Ruru's long-time girlfriend and Sparkle actress Bianca Umali was also at the premiere night to show her support.

Green Bones director Zig Dulay appreciates the positive comments from the viewers. He said, "'Nung makita ko na marami sa kanila, kung hindi lahat ay lumuluha, ang ibig sabihin nag-resonate sa kanila yung pelikula."

The premiere night of Green Bones at the SM North EDSA The Block was star-studded and was attended by GMA executives, including GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette M. Gozon-Valdes and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President Ms. Nessa Valdellon.

Coming to cinemas on Christmas Day, December 25, Green Bones also stars Alessandra de Rossi, Iza Calzado, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Sienna Stevens, Sofia Pablo, Pauline Mendoza, and Enzo Osorio, among others.
