Let it Rain!

Jung Ji Hoon, popularly known as Rain, is regarded as one of Asia’s most prolific talent. From being a singer, composer, dancer, actor, and model, South Korea’s superstar is a trailblazer, since he was able to penetrate Hollywood by starring in two movies: Speed Racer (2008) and Ninja Assassin (2009).
Born on June 25, 1982, Rain discovered he had a passion for dancing when he joined a talent show in high school. He decided to enter the High School of Arts in order to improve his craft.
He was discovered by recording artist and producer Park Jin Young, which brought him to JYP Entertainment. Before his showbiz debut, Rain lost his mother to diabetes in December 2000 leaving him and his sister Hanna behind.
His songs became hugely popular throughout Asia. Rain’s sleek voice and superb dancing skills set him apart from everybody else. Some of his smash hit includes ‘Love Story’ and ‘Rainism.’
But Pinoy fans will best remember the Korean heartthrob for his romcom drama series Full House shown here in GMA-7 back in 2005, where he co-starred with Autumn In My Heart star Song Hye Kyo (Jessie).
