Congratulations to the whole team of 'Green Bones'!

It's a dazzling start to 2025 for GMA Network as several Kapuso stars and programs continuously take home prestigious awards.

Recently, GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs' film Green Bones added more accolades to its collection at the 3rd Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards.

In the movies category, the inspirational-drama film clinched the top spot for Best Picture, followed by And The Breadwinner Is in second place and Isang Himala in third.

Award-winning director Zig Dulay received the Best Director award for his outstanding leadership and creativity in bringing the film to life.

Kapuso stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid triumphed once again, winning Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor for their powerful performances as Domingo Zamora and Xavier Gonzaga.

Along with them, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera also shone brightly as she received the Best Actress award for her remarkable performance in Balota, tying with Star for All Season Vilma Santos.

Green Bones was one of the standout films at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival, where it took home six prestigious awards: Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid), Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens), Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), and Best Picture.

The film will soon grace Hollywood's big screens during the Manila International Film Festival 2025 (MIFF) from January 30 to February 2. Locally, Green Bones continues to captivate audiences as it enters its fifth week in select cinemas.
