Thea Astley played the lead role in the musical 'Once In This Island.'
Sparkle artist Thea Astley just brought home the ultimate prize!
Thea was honored as the Best Performer in a Musical at the 2024 BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards for her role in Once In This Island.
She played Ti Moune in the Broadway musical and starred with Sam Concepcion.
Previously, Thea revealed on her Instagram that Ti Moune was her "dream role."
"Looking back now, I realize how symbolic that was because later that year, just like Ti Moune, my real life Tonton & Mama let me venture off to the Philippines to find and pursue my dreams," she wrote.
Thea was named first runner-up in the 2019 season of The Clash.
