After multiple performances in just two weeks, Kapuso actor Khalil Ramos said that he is now more relaxed in portraying the role of Elesi in 9Works Theatrical's Liwanag Sa Dilim, featuring the songs of Rico Blanco.

Elesi is an orphan who is on a quest to uncover the secrets of his past, with trusted ally Cris. Khalil is alternating the role with fellow Kapuso star Anthony Rosaldo.

"Medyo relaxed na, last week kasi ang dami pang mga aberya na technicals and everything, ito na 'yung nakapag-focus kami sa talagang mensahe ng show. Naramdaman namin 'yung show na 'to," Khalil told GMANetwork.com after his performance.

Khalil added that it was hard to share the with more or less 20 actors, including Kapuso stars Rita Daniela and Brianna Bunagan, especially his first theater experience Tick, Tick...Boom! only had three actors on stage.

"Mahigit 20 kami, iba't ibang energy pa, as in minsan sumasabog talaga 'yung energy, so kailangan ma-contain mo siya," Khalil added. "Iba rin 'yung proseso pero siyempre, we had to be able to manouever through all that chaos. Kailangan magkaroon ng clarity within the text."

Liwanag Sa Dilim will be showing on all weekends from March 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, at the CPR Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
