Last March marked a victory for justice and healing for Chito Miranda and his wife, Neri Naig.

After facing serious complaints including violation of the Securities Regulation Code (RA 8799) and syndicated estafa, the Pasay Regional Trial Court cleared Neri of all charges linked to a scam involving her partnered beauty clinic.

Throughout the ordeal, Chito remained a pillar of strength for his wife, constantly showing support online. But behind the scenes, he was even more steadfast.

In a heartfelt interview with Bernadette Sembrano, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman revealed the sacrifices he made during the toughest days of their battle.

"I never left her side. Talagang syempre there were parts that I wasn't allowed to be there with her. I'll be outside lang," he shared. "So basically I left (home) na tumira ako sa police station for the whole duration. That was around two weeks. I never went home. Hindi ako umuwi hanggang hindi kami sabay umuwi."

Now living a more peaceful life, Chito said Neri focuses on healing from the trauma of the legal battle.

Despite everything they faced, he continued to choose kindness and faith.

"First maging kind. Maging mabait lang even [when] the world is not kind," he reminded viewers. "Kasi kahit we're so exposed sa social media, akala masama mga tao. When you go sa real world, the world is still beautiful."

Chito ended with a powerful message of trust and hope. "Just to have faith na kung ano man mangyari, kung ano ang pinagdadaanan mo, everything happens for a reason. It's a blessing in disguise. Kahit 'di mo maintindihan, and you don't even need to understand what happens, just have faith na okay lang di mo maintindihan, kasi si God naintindihan."

Meanwhile, Chito and Neri celebrated their victory over the legal battle with a heartfelt renewal of vows ceremony. The couple turned emotional as they exchanged their promises once again.

“Mahal na mahal kita. I've never loved anyone as much as I love you. Dahil sa 'yo at sa mga anak natin, naunawaan ko ang tunay na ibig sabihin ng pagmamahal,” said Chito.

For her part, Neri told her husband, “Ang suwerte-suwerte ko kasi mahal na mahal mo ako. Ang even in my moments of doubt, you love me harder.”
