'Sanggang-Dikit FR' star Jennylyn Mercado pays tribute to her late adoptive mother, Lydia, through her new song "Kung Nandito Ka Pa."
It has been almost nine years since Jennylyn Mercado's aunt and adoptive mother, Lydia Mercado, passed away, but the Ultimate Star continues to remember the person who raised her and treated her like her own daughter.
In fact, the Sanggang-Dikit FR lead actress dedicates her new song titled "Kung Nandito Ka Pa" to Mommy Lydia.
It is composed by Jennylyn's friend, singer-songwriter Nar Cabico, with whom she worked on various shows in GMA.
Jen wrote in her Instagram post, "'Kung Nandito Ka Pa' is a song dedicated to my Mama Lydia who raised me as her own... Miss kita Mama!
"Maraming salamat bessie ko @boyroseuniverse for composing this song."
Lydia is the sister of the Kapuso actress' biological mother, Jinkee Pineda.
She took Jennylyn under her care and rescued her from a difficult childhood.
