DongYan's wedding, hailed as Grandest Celebrity Wedding in 'Ang Pinaka'

The Royal Wedding of Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera bagged the first spot in Ang Pinaka's grandest and most extravagant celebrity weddings in the Philippines.
"Ang kasal ni Marian Rivera at ni Dingdong Dantes ang pinaka pinag-usapan, pinakasumikat, pinakabumongga. Pinagsama mo naman kasi ang hari at ang reyna ng GMA," said Rommel Gonzales, Entertainment writer for PEP.
Jason Magbanua, who's known for his amazing same-day edit wedding videos, also believed that DongYan's wedding deserved the spot.
"Hindi ako makaalala ng isang kasal ng isang artista na sobrang dinumog, na sobrang naka-open sa public at makikita mo 'yung adoration ng fans niya. Para sa 'kin, bongga 'yon. Nai-share niya 'yung moment para roon sa mga tao na 'to," said Magbanua.
He added, "It had all the elements—the beautiful bride, the handsome groom, the dashing groom in his Ducati, political people in the ceremony. [They] also have showbiz royalty in that wedding as well. Really, [it's a] perfect mix."
Next to Dingdong and Marian's is their fellow Kapuso star Heart Evangelista's wedding with Sen. Chiz Escudero.
Aside from the two, Ang Pinaka also included these beautiful weddings in their top 10: Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño (3rd), John Prats and Isabel Oli (4th), Chito Miranda and Neri Naig (5th), Bianca Gonzales and JC Intal 6th), Boots Anson-Roa and King Rodrigo (7th), Patrick Garcia and Nikka Martinez (8th), Joross Gambao and Katz Saga (9th), and Chris Tiu and Clarisse Ong (10th).
