Xian Lim clarifies cheating, marriage rumors with Iris Lee

Love. Die. Repeat. star Xian Lim finally shed light on his current relationship status and clarified rumors about his personal life in an exclusive interview with Esquire Philippines published last May 2.
After Xian's breakup with It's Showtime host Kim Chiu, fans flocked to social media and shared multiple theories about the cause of their separation. Some of the speculations included cheating allegations and marriage. He also said there was a rumor about him living with someone for a long time.
Four months after his silence, Xian finally answered these rumors: “There's no third party. That's it. That plain and simple.”
The actor also addressed the issue of his alleged marriage. “Another rumor: when I see my friends--the people who are the last to even care about these things--kino-congratulate na ko. They say, 'Congratulations on the marriage in New York!' And I'm like, no, I am not married.”
On top of all these, Xian was also hounded by a rumor about living with someone “for years”.
“And there's also this one absurd article, or a thing said about me, that I have been living with someone for years na daw, [but] the only people I live with is my mom, my lola, [and] my lolo,” Xian explained.
Xian called this and other stories “absurd” and expressed his confusion about why these rumors even exist. However, he remained professional and tried to be a bigger person against all those who spread fake news about him. Although, there were a few people in his life who got dragged into the mess.
“Things happen in life that we're not going to be able to control. And as much as we don't want it to happen, life happens. And it just pains me na parang may mga taong nadamay. That just really saddens me and that's very unfortunate,” Xian said.
In addition to his statements about the rumors, Xian confirmed his relationship with Filipina-Chinese senior associate producer of Viva Films, Iris Lee, He said his romance bloomed after his breakup with Kim Chiu.
