This Thursday, May 12, the name  Sofia Romualdez was one of the trending topics on Twitter Philippines.

In related news, GMA News Online has reported that another 16-year-old social media basher of Mrs. Robredo has apologized for her remarks against the VP race front runner.

The student’s father has also issued a statement saying, “bilang ako tatay, humihingi ako ng sorry. Kasi siguro bata hindi alam yung ginagawa. Ang akala niya kantiyaw ay lumalaki.”

St. Anthony Learning Institute of Quezon City, the school where she goes to, also issued a statement about the controversy.
