Alden Richards visits twelve-year-old fan in critical condition

Alden Richards fulfilled the wish of a dying twelve-year-old fan by visiting her in the José R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. 

On her Instagram account, Atty. Melanie Medrano Maddela shared how Alden quickly responded to the request despite short notice. The actor even gave the child a rosary he got from Italy.
 
“Ang totoo, Alden doesn’t want pics of him with the children to be uploaded kaya eto lang inupload ko [because] I can’t help but share how good a person this young man is. Hapon na ng Monday ako nagsabi. Nag-yes agad siya at [pumunta] kinabukasan. Kaya [I’m] so grateful.
 
According to her, Alden explained to the young patient why Maine wasn’t able to make it.
 
“Due to short notice talaga, she wasn’t able to come… Alden explained it to the kid naman… Sadly, [the kid] said she can go after she’s seen them. [It was] so heartbreaking to see her hugging Alden with her frail body,” she added.
 
The lawyer extended her sincerest gratefulness to the Pambansang Bae for making a fan happy and for also taking time to visit other patients.
 
“Ibang kalseng tao siya talaga. So humble, so accommodating. Kaya naman he is truly blessed… I am so grateful for [Alden] for responding immediately and doing this for her and the other kids he visited as well,” she concluded.
