Kapuso stars to brighten Dinagyang Fest this weekend

GMA Network continues to treat their loyal Kapuso fans in the regions with fun and excitement as three of its biggest shows fly to Iloilo this weekend for the celebration of Dinagyang Festival.

For keeping the Kapuso Network number one nationwide, GMA gives back to the viewers by mounting a series of mall shows starting with Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and Martin del Rosario. The stars of the upcoming Afternoon Prime “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” will have a show in Robinsons Place Jaro on Friday (Jan. 20) at 5 p.m. to further heat up the Dinagyang Festival that honors the Holy Infant or Sto. Niño.

Ilonggos are in for a kilig overload come Saturday (Jan. 21) as the cast of the newest hit romcom series “Meant To Be” spreads love and good vibes in Robinsons Place Iloilo at 5 p.m. Barbie Forteza will be joined by her leading men Ken Chan, Jak Roberto, Ivan Dorschner, and Addy Raj together with Mika dela Cruz.

On Sunday (Jan. 22), fans of “Ika-6 Na Utos” lead actors Gabby Concepcion and Sunshine Dizon should go to SM City Iloilo Southpoint for another Kapuso Mall Show at 5 p.m. The Kapuso actors portray the characters of Rome and Emma (respectively) in the much-talked about Afternoon Prime series about a wife who fights to keep her husband from leaving her for his mistress.

“GMA continues to soar high, with shows that remain to have high ratings nationwide,” says Oliver Amoroso, Officer-in-Charge of GMA’s Regional TV Department. “This is why for 2017, we want to assure our loyal Kapuso viewers that we will be true to our commitment of giving them only top-notch programs featuring their favorite Kapuso stars. We always look forward to joining our Kapusong Ilonggos in celebrating the Dinagyang Festival.”
