Celebrities shocked over shooting incident at a popular Manila leisure complex

Filipinos are waking up today shocked over the news that happened early Friday morning about a shooting incident that happened in a popular leisure complex in Pasay City.

According to reports by GMANewsOnline, an unidentified gunman fired shots inside the Resorts World Manila building and set gaming tables on fire.

Later, authorities confirmed that the gunman was found dead after committing suicide by burning himself to death. 

Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa said in an interview, “The lone gunman is already neutralized. Patay na siya, nagsunog siya ng sarili sa loob ng hotel room 510."

At least 25 people died, but there are no official reports yet on whether the cause of death is from gunshot wounds or suffocation from the fire. Moreover, 54 persons were also wounded.

Celebrities took to Twitter to express their sadness over the shooting incident that happened at Resorts World Manila.

Former StarStruck kids Sandy Talag also asked people online to stop spreading fake and unverified reports on social media.
