Kapuso leading lady Andrea Torres renewed her contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, July 18. With her in the said event were GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, SVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Lara, and Senior Talent Manager Vic del Rosario.

Andrea, who is reprising her role as Venus in the second season of Alyas Robin Hood, expressed her happiness to be an official Kapuso once again.

Ang nakakatuwa diyan, they help me talaga realize what I want to do here in the industry.

She also shared that viewers can expect an even fiercer Venus.

"Siyempre mas fierce, mas palaban, mas maraming action scenes. Nae-excite na rin ako dahil maa-apply ko na ang training ko sa Muay Thai and boxing habang break kami from Alyas."

GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable is likewise happy about Andrea's contract renewal.

"Nakita natin how she has grown as an artist, kaya mas nakaka-enganyo kasi andami na niya ngayong na-develop in her, not only sa acting, pati 'yung physicality niya. She can do action, she can even do comedy. Nae-enganyo naman tayo to think of projects and roles that would fit her and further hone her craft."
