Winwyn Marquez, first Filipina to compete in Reina Hispanoamericana

A day after the Miss World Philippines 2017 competition, Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez still could not believe that she finally has a crown on her head. She bagged the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title, making her the first Filipina to represent the country in the said international pageant.

She wrote, "I can't believe that I finally have a crown on my head and that I'll be representing the PHILIPPINES in an international pageant. The first ever Filipina to compete in Reina Hispanoamericana. Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumuporta and naniwala saakin!! Hindi po madali ang sasalihan ko pero alam ko kakayanin ko po dahil sa inyo.. Laban Pilipinas!"

Winwyn's father, actor Joey Marquez, also congratulated his daughter through an Instagram post.

Her boyfriend Mark Herras was also very proud of her achievement
