Megan Young and Pia Wurztbach proud of country's recent beauty pageant wins

Former beauty queens Megan Young and Pia Wurtzbach cannot express enough how happy and proud they are for the big wins of the Philippines in the recently concluded Reina Hispanoamericana and Miss Earth.

The two, who also brought pride to the country after winning Miss World 2013 and Miss Universe 2015, respectively, tweeted their reactions after Winwyn Marquez and Karen Ibasco won in their respective pageants.

Karen Ibasco is Miss Earth 2017

Winwyn Marquez bagged the first Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the country on her very first try.

Aside from Winwyn and Karen, Elizabeth Clenci also had a successful stint at the Miss Grand International 2017, wherein she placed 2nd runner-up.
