In a report by GMA News Online, Celine was asked during her media round table in Las Vegas for her concert tour in Asia this 2018 about the new gender identity of Jake Zyrus.

The French-Canadian superstar recalled performing with Jake, when she was still Charice in Madison Square Garden in 2008.

"My jaw is still dislocated because the whole arena was, and I remember, she dedicated her song to her mother. So I think, if I may now switch, I'm pretty sure that 'he' remembers dedicating the song to his mother and a big talent," Celine said.

Celine added that she wished him the very best.

"I just wished him the very, very best. I hope that acceptance is hard but we have to... we cannot start by judging because is there a final answer really? If you feel a certain way, you feel that way. We can talk about it, but this is how you feel, and this is how I feel, but this is how Charice felt, and we have to respect that."

Meanwhile, Jake Zyrus tweeted his heartfelt thanks to the popular singer and will always remember her kindness towards him.

Celine Dion is the voice behind the smash hits "My Heart Will Go On" and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now." She will stage her first ever concert in the Philippines this coming July 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
