WATCH: Mikael Daez and Megan Young reveal secret to their seven-year relationship

Did you know real-life couple Mikael Daez and Megan Young have been together for seven years? Way back in 2010, the Kapuso stars met in an event wherein Megan was the host and Mikael was a model.

All these years, the lovely couple kept their relationship low-key, not until 2015 when they became more open to share their relationship publicly.

In an interview with Unang Hirit, Mikael and Megan revealed their secret to achieve a long-lasting relationship.

Miss World 2013 said they strive to have an “open communication.” For the Kapuso hunk, it’s important to be honest, “Madaling sabihin [ang] being honest eh pero mahirap ‘yung  gagawin mo talaga. Magiging bukas ka talaga.”

The actress-beauty queen said their relationship isn’t perfect, “May highs and lows din tayo, as in may mga sobrang okay tapos may sobrang, parang ‘Ano’ng nangyayari?’ so I think it’s really [a] choice to really work for the relationship.”

This 2018, it’s a dream come true for them to be paired onscreen for the first time in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime soap, The Stepdaughters which will air this Monday (February 12).
