MUST-READ: Kiko Estrada prioritizes being a serious actor than a hunky eye-candy

Kapuso star Kiko Estrada was recognized as among Philippine showbiz’s hottest male actors of his generation at Mega Man Best Bodies 2018 event at The Island, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, yesterday (April 19).

“I [want to] thank Mega Man. I’m so honored and blessed for this. I’m flattered because I don’t think of myself as sexy pero I work hard in the gym,” he told GMANetwork.com in an interview.

Kiko pulled off a boy next door look last night as he walked down the Mega Man stage, exuding a charming persona. He refuses to be tagged as a hunk actor, and said that he credits his preparations to his craft, “I just [want to] look good in my shows, in my movies, [and] in my teleseryes.”

How does the Kapuso actor prepare for a role? “I go to the gym four times a week because I have work which requires me to be buff. [I do] a couple of push ups [and] diet,” he revealed.

Kiko Estrada is set to star in the upcoming GMA TV drama My Guitar Princess opposite Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose as well as in Direk Adolf Alix’s film 'My Stepmother’s Lover' with sexy actress Sunshine Cruz and Kapuso actor Martin Del Rosario.

Kiko is also joining Direk Joey Reyes’ 'Walwal' with Kapamilya stars Elmo Magalona, Donny Pangilinan, and Jerome Ponce.
