Kiray Celis on transferring to GMA: 'I deserve this'

Kiray Celis is the latest Kapamilya star to transfer to GMA Network as she signed a contract with GMA Artist Center today, December 20. In her interview with Aubrey Carampel, the new Kapuso talent shared her satisfaction about her big career move.

She said, “Very happy, and sobrang saya kasi sobrang grabe 'yung welcome nila sa akin. Nararamdaman ko kaagad 'yung love sa heart ko. I can feel it.”

“Gusto ko lang ng bago para sa sarili ko. Gusto ko rin ng mga bagong ganap sa buhay and mga bagong katrabaho, and bagong taon, bago lahat. Kailangan 'di ba may mga New Year's resolution tayo, so feeling ko ito. Kailangan ko ng bago sa buhay ko,” she added.

GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer, who joined Kiray at her contract signing, only had good words to welcome the young actress.

He said, “We're very happy that Kiray is now with GMA Artist Center. Isa siyang napaka-talented na actress so madami siyang puwedeng gawin. We all know na she's very good with comedy but our plan is to really expose her in the different genres in GMA kasi madami nga siyang puwedeng gawin pa. Gusto namin ipakita 'yung versatility ni Kiray.”

As a Kapuso, Kiray is slated to appear in a TV series, a movie and a number of guestings on GMA's talk and variety programs.

“Grabe 'yung pagmamahal. Sa totoo lang, grabe talaga. And feeling ko I deserve this and thank you very much sa opportunity kasi binigay nila sa akin ito ng buong-buo. Kasi feeling ko meron pa akong kayang ipakita at binibigyan nila ako ng chance na ipakita 'yun sa inyo,” Kiray said.
