“My mom is Filipina, she's from General Santos in Mindanao.

“I carry this everywhere, my culture, my rich culture.

“But I grew up Americanized. I didn't have anyone around me to tell me about my culture so I was always looking for my mother because she was actually deported by the immigration when I was just two years old.

“So my dad raised me on his own.

“Four years ago, I went to go see her in Manila when I found her online. I always knew that there was a piece of me missing and I'm glad I found it.”

Maliban sa Port Authority, ipapalabas din sa Cannes Film Festival ang pelikula ni Adolf Alix Jr. na Mystery of the Night na pinagbibidahan nina Solenn Heussaff at Benjamin Alves.
