Jeric Gonzales portrays a recovering drug addict in 'Stories for the Soul'

'Stories for the Soul' features the story of Sam (Jeric Gonzales) in the episode “Bad Sam.”

The episode features a modern take on The Parable of the Good Samaritan from the Bible. Sam is a former drug user who is returning to his hometown after recovering in a rehabilitation program. He is ridiculed by the public despite his repentance.

Whenever a crime occurs in their community, Sam is always put to blame. Determined to change for the better, Sam takes lowly jobs to make a living and resists the urge to turn to drugs again.

When an OFW in their community is robbed and stabbed, right in the heart of the community, who, among the self-righteous people in the community, will help the wounded man lying on the street?
