Seo Kang Joon reacts to his drama 'Are You Human' being shown in the Philippines
South Korean actor Seo Kang Joon is in Manila to promote his upcoming GMA Heart of Asia drama Are You Human? where he plays the role of a rich heir, Nam Shin, and his android version, Nam Shin III.
During his press conference held in GMA Network last May 24, Seo Kang Joon gave his thoughts on his Korean drama being shown on Philippine television.
He said, “It's been a while since this has been filmed but when I heard that it was going to be aired in the Philippines I was very excited but also nervous because I really wanted to give the Philippine fans the best project possible.
“The series shows my two roles, it has a sci-fi genre and a little bit of rom-com, and also a bit political but mostly I just want the Filipino fans to relate to the character because they have a lot of human characters they can relate to.”
The actor arrived in the country on the same day of his first Philippine press conference and praised the warmth of the Filipino fans.
“I just landed in the Philippines today, but my impression is that everyone is so beautiful in the Philippines and very friendly.”
He also shared how happy he is to connect to his fans from all over the world through social media and fan meetings, “I connect with my fans through social media and also through fan meetings like these, thankfully as well as through my projects.”
