EXCLUSIVE: Ebe Dancel has a tip for aspiring musicians: 'Don't forget why you're doing this'

Musician Ebe Dancel has been in the music scene since Sugarfree's debut in 1999.

After 20 years in the industry and having been experienced ups and downs, Ebe shared one tip to aspiring musicians.

“Well you know, this business is hard,” he admitted.

“You're entertainers kasi, you're in show business essentially.

“You're basically open to criticism the same as you are to admiration and love. So you take the good with the bad.

“And don't forget why you're doing this. It can be disheartening, it can be discouraging but if you keep at it, you know, the rewards are amazing.”

After all, Ebe has done what he said. He took a break in August 2018 but came back nine months later in May 2019 because he didn't forget why he was doing what he was doing.
