Actress-entrepreneur KC Concepcion used the opportunity to educate someone about respecting the LGBTQIA+ community after reading a negative comment on her Instagram.

On Monday, September 10, KC replied to Instagram user @sarapmagbiyaheofficial, who described her look as “mukhang bading.”

The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta told the netizen to stop using the word “bading” in a negative way.

“Mahalin po natin ang mga Becky,” she said.

“Ilan sa pinaka mapagmahal at matalik kong kaibigan ay 'bading.' Wag po natin silang gamitin sa negatibong pananaw”.

There are growing calls about protecting the rights of LGBTQIA+ community. Celebrities like Heart Evangelista and Anne Curtis have joined the group lobbying for the passage of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill in the 18th Congress.
