JUST IN: Heart Evangelista launches 'Styled with Heart' book

Heart Evangelista has officially launched her much-awaited fashion book titled “Styled with Heart” earlier today, September 15, at the Manila International Book Fair in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

During the book signing, Heart shared, “[Fashion] is an archive of your life.

“Fashion is not just kaartehan, it's an expression of one's individuality and I'm proud of myself that at a young age, I was able to express myself. So yeah, I'm very happy about it.”

She also confessed that fashion became an outlet for her to express herself and make up for all the insecurities she had while growing up.

“It made up for all my insecurities because I was going through a lot of anxiety, depression when I was young.

“But fashion made me feel good.”

Heart was joined by the publishers of Summit Media, GMA AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara, friends from the media, and fans during the book signing.

In the book, the Kapuso actress breaks down her signature style as well as stories from her private and public life.

Heart also shared that the bestselling author of “Crazy Rich Asians” Kevin Kwan was the one who wrote the foreword.

Each book retails for PhP450.00 and is available at bookstores nationwide.
