WATCH: 'Spider-Man' star Jacob Batalon shares his favorite Stan Lee memorabilia

Stan Lee, the Marvel legend and co-creator of iconic superheroes may have died last year, but his legacy continues on in the hearts of his lead stars and the characters they portrayed.

One of them is Jacob Batalon who played Ned Leeds in the films Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

During his visit to GMA Network, the Hollywood star recalled meeting the comic book legend for the first time.

“When I first met him, he gave me the first comic book when Ned Leeds appeared in the Amazing Spider-Man story arc,” he told Unang Hirit anchor Lyn Ching.

“I keep that all the time. It is framed in my apartment.”

Aside from his memory with the Marvel creator, Jacob admitted creating the best memories when making the Spider-Man series.

He confessed, “Just like working with each other for the first time, it was such a fun experience for us because we didn't know each other.

“And we had so much fun making the movie that we didn't want it to end.

“And then with Far From Home, it's like really traveling with my family, with my best friends, experiencing other cultures, exploring other cities.

“I made the best memories of my life with them.”

Jacob visited the network to promote the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home last Friday, September 20.

He is set to make a cameo role in the 24th Anniversary of the comedy gag show Bubble Gang.
