READ: Maey Bautista gets emotional as she signs 5-year contract extension with GMA

Kapuso comedienne Maey Bautista renewed her contract with GMA Artist Center earlier today, November 7.

"Ito, nakakatuwa 'to kasi aside from magre-renew ng contract, five years ang magiging kontrata ngayon," Maey revealed.

She added as her eyes got teary, "Nakakatuwa ano. Ang lamig ko.”

Meanwhile, Maey mentioned that she wants to do action films.

"Gusto ko din 'yung ano, kasi na-try ko na 'yung maging komedyanteng-kontrabida sa My Guitar Princess, gusto ko ulit 'yung ganun," Maey said.

"Pero bukod roon, gusto ko rin maging action star. Kasi, madalas 'pag tinatanong nila ako na, 'Kayo po ba 'yung artista sa GMA?' 'Opo, action star po ako doon.'"

Present in the contract signing were GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun S. Ferrer and Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo.

Maey is also part of GMA's upcoming series, Love of My Life, starring Carla Abellana and Rhian Ramos.
